Terms and conditions

The placing of an order and acceptance of that order constitutes a contract of sale under the terms of the seller and English law.

Delivery:
UK delivery charges can be found below. We have also listed our shipping costs for all other countries. Please ask us directly if you are unsure at info@reborndollsbysamantha.co.uk. All packages are recorded and fully insured. We do ship items outside of the UK. However, we are not responsible for export and customs duties/charges in your country of origin.

Deliveries are always by Parcelforce 48 (48-hour delivery) and fully insured. When placing orders through the website, you will be provided with a tracking number when your item is ready to be delivered.

Loss or Damaged in Transit: We check all goods for quality and condition before they are despatched. In the unlikely event that any part of your order is received missing or in a damaged condition, contact us immediately upon receipt of your order and at least within 3 days by emailing us at info@reborndollsbysamantha.co.uk.

Claims received after 3 days of receipt can not be accepted. You must retain all damaged items and packing should the carrier need to carry out an inspection. If the goods and packaging are not available for inspection, the claim will be rejected, and you will be liable for the cost of the damaged goods.

Shipping Times:

We will always use the most economical shipping method compared with delivery time. Dolls are despatched within 3 – 4 weeks (please allow a day for delivery).  This is simple because Samantha paints, roots, builds and packages each doll to order herself.

For bespoke dolls, please speak to me directly, and I will give you details on delivery times. If there are any special requirements, please contact me. Please note that during busier periods, delivery may be longer.

UK Delivery is £15.00 – this includes England, Scotland and Wales. Please note that due to cost increases from our couriers, we have had to increase the shipping costs to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. For the below postal areas the cost for Postage & Packaging will be £24.00 (this includes postage, packaging, insurance and vat £20.00 + vat = £24.00)…

Please be aware that if you are ordering from outside the UK, there may be Customs and excise charges or Import Duties to pay. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and it is the responsibility of the customer to pay any additional taxes.

Again, please check your local customs charges, as this is not something we are able to control.

Order Cancellations:

Any orders cancelled after 24hrs will be subject to a £40.00 cancellation fee. Each doll is made to order, which means that once I have received your order I then purchase the doll kit, body, clothes, etc. I have had a number of people order dolls and then cancel several days later, which is clearly costing me money.

Returns & Refunds:

Pre-Orders: Deposits taken are NOT refundable or transferable.

To fully comply with Government Regulations, if you wish to return your order, this must be done within 14 days of receiving the item.  The item should be undamaged and unused; this includes the doll, the clothing and any accessories that are provided with the order.

The order should be returned in the original protective packaging; failing to do so could result in a partial refund. Should you have any issues surrounding your order, please contact me at sales@reborndollsbysamantha.co.uk

Please be aware that we can only refund you on a return for the cost of the doll. Postage and Packaging costs cannot be refunded.

Reborn Dolls are not recommended for children under the age of 14 years or under. Reborn Dolls are not meant as play items, and unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for damages. All items are hand made and it is the owner’s responsibility that they are handled in the correct fashion. Repairs can be arranged depending on the damage; however, postage fees would be applied.

Repairs and Damages

​If, for whatever reason, the item or box is damaged in transit, please contact us directly prior to opening.

​Our dolls are delicate items and not intended as play dolls for younger children. We are aware that accidents can happen if the dolls are not handled correctly. For items (dolls) that have been damaged within the first 6 months of receipt, please contact us. Typically as long as you, the owner, can cover the cost of the postage, we would be happy to help with repairs (depending on the severity of the damage).

​For damages, after 6 months of receipt, we have no legal obligation to repair. However, please contact us, and we help as much as we can, but please be aware that there will be additional costs (for replacement materials and time).

Privacy Policy and Data Handling

Here at Reborn Dolls by Samantha, we adhere to the Government legislation on Privacy Policies and Data Handling (GDPR). You can find a link to the full details here: PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA.

Reborn Dolls by Samantha will never send junk emails to you. You will only ever be sent emails containing order information. We will only send you additional emails if you have opted to receive and these emails will be promoting services and products offered by Reborn Dolls by Samantha. Occasionally, Reborn Dolls by Samantha may send surveys to its customers requesting feedback on our products and services.

The information about you which we do hold is as follows:

Your name, address, telephone number and details about your doll(s). Any information we hold on you, we will try to always keep current and precise. Should you find any inaccuracies in our database, please do let us know, and we can amend it immediately.
